Just know that unfortunately we won’t be able to provide you with support for it, we don’t own one and never installed any of our products in one.

Does anyone know if I need to purchase another license to use it on a just purchased Muse Receptor 2 Pro Plus I have sent several emails to both Lance and VI Labs support, but have not received an answer.

Let me know if you want it and i will send you a link to guy it. I bought and have been playing the Ravenscroft 275 software piano on my Mac since December, 2014.

However, I need to do a recording on location and wondering if you can access the mixer offline - the locale has no wi-fi. It requires a different license as the iLok software has evolved since that version, but the receptor software did not. I have had this unit for a few years, latency down to 64samples and lovely in my studio which has wi-fi. If you have that, then we have a special version of the Ravenscroft that we can offer you for 30$ that will work in it. French translation of tooltips available. 4.5.2 (6) Pianoteq is now available as an AAX plugin for Pro Tools 11. The only thing i know is that there is supposed to be a compatible version of UVI Workstation that might already be installed. Fixed a crash that happened on some specific conditions (typically Pro Tools with a buffer size set to 1024, for some presets). Unfortunately and as you might have seen, Muse just closed up shop… and we don’t know anything about installing our products in a Receptor.

After receiving the below response from VI Labs, I'm actually leaning towards the Pianoteq 5 Stage version unless someone else knows of an easier install and nice sounding piano option? Tones from close and intimate, diffuse and distant, warm or brilliant, all can be acheived with one or more of these mics. World-class mics and preamps were used throughout. Because here is VI Labs Ravenscroft.Thank you Markay and Analogaddict for the feedback. The four discrete phase-aligned mic setups of the Ravenscroft 275 accurately capture its unique voice in exquisite detail and can be used individually or mixed in any way. Some reviewers at Keyboard magazine / Sound on sound always mention that a software piano could never feel the way a concert grand does. I am the happy owner of a real piano that is a joy to play. I use VI Labs Ravenscroft 275 piano software with a Muse Receptor Trio, a Roland RD-700SX keyboard, a Roland RPU-3 piano pedal (very important because of what one can do with una corda, half pedaling and such - just look at Vladimir Horowitz's feet, at how he uses pedals and listen! - than try that on Ravensroft, because you can now do the same), and an Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphone. The origins of this virtual instrument arise from a pursuit for perfection, the masterfully crafted Ravenscroft Model 275 Titanium Grand Piano. Simply launch the app and experience the gorgeous tone of this one-of-a-kind concert grand from your iPhone or iPad. It is a cathartic experience for me to play any kind of music on Ravenscroft (of course including classical music). Ravenscroft Grand delivers the most realistic-sounding piano ever created for iOS. Made of 1,000 year old sitka spruce wood with solid titanium string termination points and precise, responsive CAD optimized action, the R275 is renowned the world over for it’s breathtaking tone. If classical music sounds good/and feels good to play on a piano, that piano is worth considering for any type of music. The origins of this virtual instrument arise from a pursuit for perfection, the masterfully crafted Ravenscroft Model 275 Titanium Grand Piano. The ultimate test from my point of view is trying a piano by playing classical music. Then you buy the software, sit down and start playing: it does not feel as good (I have spent some hours trying to find the right keyboard touch settings/velocity curve for my controller. I cannot say the same about Ivory American Concert D, which sounds decent for pop music when you listen. It feels good with light, medium, heavy settings (whatever you like you don't loose control somewhere between keys and sound). One does not need to tweek keyboard velocity curves.
